My yoga path stumbled on me. For decades I used the my body to express my self in all forms of dance and movement paths. When I moved to NYC I wanted something close to practice and opened to an ever ending world of yoga.
A life motto for Yael, encourages her students to live their dreams, whether designing, traveling to remote places, or trying a new yoga pose. She brings this attitude of "Say Yes" into her Yoga practice and her teaching which includes her experience with different cultures, her sense of wonder at the variety in the world and a sense of play. Yael offers her rapt attention to her students and takes time with the details of alignment, anatomy and therapeutics, making them accessible to students of any level through the philosophy and principles of yoga. Yael hopes to inspire thoughtfulness and a sense of possibility that translate into daily life.
Yael teaches both in New York and in Israel
My journey with therapeutic yoga began after a ski injury. Working with my teachers and embracing the spiritual as much as the physical knowledge of yoga I was amazed with my fast recovery. I also realized that I got stronger after the injury physically as much as spiritually

Cultivating trust through community
Understanding ourselves implies having more wisdom. This is a key for inner expansion and reviling the blinds of the heart. Cultivating this understanding can come when we trust.
So many times we put our inner voice aside, ”it’s not yet time for dinner”, “I’m not cold”, “I’m fine” – when everything is anything than fine, and so on. By quieting our inner voice and ignoring it we learn with time not to trust it. Working in partners teaches us on the subconscious level to bring more trust to our inner and outer dialog. Partner work is a great opportunity to refine our abilities to trust one another and become trustworthy for our partners.
Join me on this journey to our hearts - learning to trust and be trustworthy through partner yoga.
